Bajan Tyga is a uniquely Canadian hot sauce made by hand in very small, or micro-batches using as many locally sourced, fresh ingredients as possible. This twist to a traditional Barbadian style mango & Scotch bonnet-based sauce has a uniquely different texture and distinct mix of ingredients.
The sauce is made from mango, fresh turmeric, Scotch bonnet, mango, and Naga/Ghost peppers which originate in India (where tigers live) for more heat and a special flavour that is both low in sodium and vegan. Imagine a thicker, Caribbean, flavour-first sauce with a slow-building heat.

PEPPER PROFILE - Bajan Tyga's bite comes from the Scotch bonnet or ‘bonney pepper’ (sometimes referred to as West Indian Habaneros) and Dorset Naga peppers (hybrids), added to giving even MORE subtle heat and flavour.
Phytochemicals in these peppers (capsaicin and flavonoids) are powerful antioxidants with anti-inflammatory and immune system benefits.
FRESH TURMERIC ROOT - Bajan Tyga generous use of fresh turmeric root helps develop its distinct wonderful aroma and taste. Turmeric contains Curcumin, which has powerful anti-inflammatory effects and is a very strong antioxidant.
LOW SODIUM - Only 4 mg of sodium per teaspoon! This is way less sodium than other hot sauces that claim to have way less sodium!
