Our tea is made from roasted Black Tartary Buckwheat seeds. Buckwheat is NOT a grain, NOT wheat. It was brought to China by the Tatar Mongols at the time of the Mongol conquer, from where it received its name. Our Buckwheat is grown without the use of GMOs.
